Directions: Wet, work into a thick lather with washrag, loofa, exfoliating mitt or directly on the skin. Thoroughly cleanse skin. Rinse.
Simplici Traditional Bar Soap Recipe:
83% Hog Lard*
17% Coconut Oil
Lye - Saponified with Pels Caustic Soda @ 93% super-fat.
Mix first three ingredients till thick, then additives. Mold. Insulate overnight. Cut. Cure at least 6 weeks.
Additives per variety (per 128 gram bar):
Almond, Cinnamon & Oatmeal
4 grams Almond extract; cinnamon & benzoin pure essential oils
1.5 grams Oatmeal, cinnamon bark powder
1.5 grams Shea butter
Aloe & Herb
4.5 grams Frankincense, geranium, lavender & tea tree pure essential oils
1.0 gram Aloe Vera, celandine, chickweed, comfrey, heal all, plantain
Activated Charcoal
1 gram Activated charcoal
.75 grams Marshmallow root powder
Cinnamon Orange
3 grams Cinnamon + orange, pure essential oils
0.4 grams Cinnamon bark powder
Coffee Grit
1 grams Coffee grounds
Eucalyptus
3 grams Eucalyptus pure essential oil
0.5 gram Eucalyptus & thyme leaf
Fir, Rosemary & Cedar

6.0 grams Pine tar, oatmeal & shea nut butter
Simply Lye Soap
1 gram White kaolin clay
Spearmint
4.5 grams Spearmint, eucalyptus & sweet orange pure essential oils
1.2 grams Dead Sea clay mud & green tea extract
Tea Tree & Herb
3.25 grams Tea Tree pure essential oil
1.0 gram Elderflowers, elderberries, sage, calendula & comfrey
Triple Butter & Pine Tar
Shea butter, mango butter, kokum butte, & pine tar
Ingredients: Lard*, lye**, and coconut oil. May contain 100% natural scent, color, and texture .
*Food grade lard may contain BHA, Propyl Gallate, Citric Acid and/or EDTA
** Lye is completely used up in the saponification process. There is no lye in the final product, and this product is fully cured and skin safe prior at shipment.
Warning: Keep away from eyes. Keep away from children and pets. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Do not eat.

Smells SO Good!
The Patchouli Charcoal soap smells so good and I love the scrubby things in it! This is my picky family’s favorite soap. The price is right and I feel good buying from a smaller supplier. They even sign a little note with each shipment :)

Great soap
What can I say... I'm a super fan. Started buying on amazon and now I buy direct from website. For personal use we buy 10 bars or so at a time. Always consistent quality. A bit pricy but I love the soap. The mixed box of ends/off cuts is fun but the simply lye is my favorite!

Frankincense soap
I love your soap! I usually buy from you at the Chattanooga Market. But I couldn't find the booth at all this summer. So I bought it on your website. I have 6 grown children, and they all love it too. So it's going to be part of their Christmas stockings this year.

Love this soap!
Milk and Honey is one of my favorite soaps. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I have to be picky about the soap I use. This one has no added fragrance — a must for me! Yet, it has a natural milky, comforting smell. I look forward to my shower every night. My skin is so soft after showering.

Hey Hey for what it's worth my family has been using simply lye soap for more than 10 years. It is simply the best soapy soap. Only soap I use
I've been buying this soap and using it for a year or more now. And it is my favorite soap. It has been the only soap I've used since the first time I tried it. I mostly go for unscented soaps, but even some of the scented soaps are mild and of natural essences so they don't irritate me. I actually enjoy them.
